As animal husbandry moves toward large-scale and intelligent development, imetec intelligent unmanned feeding vehicle draws on 27 years of technical experience and localized innovation. It effectively solves the pain points of traditional feeding and helps ranches cut costs and improve efficiency, standing as a benchmark product in China’s intelligent feeding industry.

Traditional manual feeding features low efficiency, high labor costs and severe feed waste. Meanwhile, it fails to ensure accurate feeding quantity and good livestock welfare. Focusing on R&D and manufacturing of agricultural and animal husbandry machinery, Imetec independently developed this intelligent unmanned feeding vehicle equipped with track-free LiDAR and visual SLAM integrated navigation system. Different from traditional designs, it requires no pre-buried magnetic strips, QR codes or tracks, nor any reconstruction of existing barns. It can automatically map the site for the first use and achieve centimeter-level precise positioning. It is applicable to new and old ranches as well as multi-barn linked operation, enabling flexible adjustment of feeding routes to adapt to complex working conditions.
Fitted with a 360° all-round obstacle avoidance system combining multi-line LiDAR, binocular cameras and ultrasonic sensors, the vehicle can accurately identify cattle, staff and sundries, and automatically slow down, stop or detour in time. Powered by pure electricity, it runs over 70% quieter than diesel equipment, greatly reducing livestock stress and stabilizing feeding status. Equipped with 48V/72V lithium iron phosphate batteries, it works continuously for 6 to 8 hours and supports automatic recharging to realize 24-hour unattended operation. It can complete 14 to 16 regular feeding tasks every day. One single unit is capable of serving 800 to 1000 cattle, and only four units can meet the feeding demand of a ten-thousand-head ranch.

In terms of feeding performance, it integrates accurate feeding and automatic material pushing functions. With a material tank volume of 3-5 cubic meters and load capacity of 1.5-3 tons, it supports adjustable double-side and single-side discharging with variable frequency speed regulation. Its feeding error is controlled within 5%, cutting feed waste by 8% to 12% compared with manual work. It automatically pushes feed in place after feeding, keeping the residual feed rate at 2%-3%, so that livestock can eat fresh feed at any time and increase feed intake by more than 20%. Adaptable to temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 50℃, it features 10%-15% climbing capacity and 5-10cm obstacle-crossing height, running smoothly on various complex terrains in ranches.
