Imetec Feed Pushing Robot — Intelligent Feeding Solution for Cost-Efficient Modern Farms

2026-03-31 971 Views
Against the background of rapid development in large-scale livestock farming, traditional manual feed management has long been plagued by high labor costs, inconsistent feeding efficiency and serious feed waste, restricting the overall profitability of farms. The imetec Feed Pushing Robot integrates advanced intelligent technology and reliable performance specifications to deliver a 24/7 unmanned feeding solution, helping dairy and beef cattle farms achieve standardized, efficient and intelligent feed management.

Equipped with a laser and ultrasonic dual-mode navigation system, the robot requires no magnetic strips or additional markers. It independently maps barn layouts and plans optimized travel routes. Supported by multiple sensing and anti-collision systems, it intelligently detects cattle, railings and other obstacles, ensuring safe and stable operation with automatic obstacle avoidance. At its core is a 1.8-meter double-helix pushing arm, delivering a feed pushing efficiency of up to 98% and an operating speed of 18 m/min. With a precision feed distribution algorithm, it arranges feed evenly without scattering, reducing residual feed to only 2%–3% and greatly cutting feed waste. With a 10 cm ground clearance, the robot easily crosses ditches and barriers, adapting to diverse barn environments.

Powered by a 60V 80A high-capacity lithium battery supporting 2,000 charge-discharge cycles, the machine offers 8–10 hours of continuous operation and automatically returns to the charging station when power is low, enabling uninterrupted 24-hour performance. A single unit efficiently covers the feeding area for 500 to 1,000 cattle, with 14 to 16 scheduled feeding cycles per day to keep tmr rations fresh and accessible. This steady feeding regime helps increase dry matter intake by 2%–3% and milk production by 3%–5% for dairy cows.
The robot features a wear-resistant stainless steel body that is moisture-proof, acid and alkali resistant. The cold-climate version operates reliably at temperatures as low as -35°C. Through a mobile APP, users can remotely set schedules, monitor operation paths, battery status and working conditions in real time, with audible and visual alerts for malfunctions. One robot replaces up to four manual workers, saving more than 40,000 yuan in annual labor costs.
From precise operation to intelligent management, from robust technical specifications to improved farm profitability, the Imetec Feed Pushing Robot is suitable for farms with 200 to 10,000 cattle. It accelerates the shift from manual labor to intelligent operation in feeding management, providing strong and reliable equipment support for the high-quality development of modern animal husbandry.
